Monograph 26 - Mine Managers' Handbook The Mine Managers' Handbook is a comprehensive volume describing all of the important aspects of managing a mining company. The handbook addresses topics such as corporate strategy, leadership, operations management and world markets for minerals. Written by experts from industry, consulting firms and academia, it will be of great value to corporate executives, directors of mining companies, students and, indeed, to all those wishing to understand the industry. Several of the chapters and sections are relevant to industrial management activities more generally. While written primarily for Australian conditions, much of the content is applicable to the global minerals industry.

Monograph 34 - Mineral Consultant's HandbookCombining a wealth of knowledge from more than 50 contributors, the Mineral Consultant’s Handbook (MCH) provides useful and practical advice on a range of relevant topics for those working as, or considering becoming, a minerals consultant. The MCH is centred around principles and while primarily aimed at minerals professionals navigating the early stages of becoming a consultant, this handbook will also be a useful tool for more experienced professionals. The publication is made up of 18 chapters along with an extensive collection of useful documents and templates included as appendices. The text was initially drafted and released in digital format by John F Dunlop FAusIMM(CP), a well-respected minerals consultant with more than thirty years of experience, on behalf of the Minerals Industry Consultants Association (MICA), a society affiliated with the AusIMM which merged with the AusIMM Consultant’s Society (ConSoc) in 2018. Contributions and additions to this initial draft were received and compiled to produce this second edition, which now joins the prestigious collection of AusIMM monographs.

Monograph 28 - Australasian Mining and Metallurgical Operating Practices Edited by: W J Rankin The third edition of this prestigious and well-known publication provides an invaluable technical reference and comprehensive record of operating practices in the Australasian minerals industry. AMMOP is comprised of 186 papers covering 218 significant mining and processing operations in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. In addition to the site and plant descriptions, relevant issues and key areas are addressed in the introductory chapters. These include industry overviews for each country, environment, community, safety, research and education, geoscience, metallurgy, mining, asset management and sustainability. The two volumes are cloth-bound and presented in a slip-case. AMMOP will prove to be an important reference volume for practitioners, researchers, consultants and students for many years to come.
